Patty Jenkins` debut superhero movie, Wonder Woman, got compliment from about the world, but there was one individual whose a reaction to the movie stood out: Hillary Clinton.
Relating to Entertainment Regular, Jenkins thought that praise from Hillary was absolutely “surreal”.
In a mass email, Clinton said that she found the film “equally inspirational as I’d suspected a movie about a strong, powerful girl in a fight to save the world from international devastation would be.”
In an interview with Cosmopolitan newspaper, she described, “It’s completely surreal! Those sorts of crossovers to the real world are surreal because there’s like two versions of me. There’s the me that’s like, ‘Wow! (Surprise Female) is this (kind of icon) to so many people, so I’m not surprised.’ Alternatively, I’m like, ‘Oh, my god!'”
Jenkins also noted that she seems honoured that her movie has been praised from a person like Hillary Clinton.
Jenkins lately defended her film after commentary by Avatar director Adam Cameron, who said in another interview that Think about Woman had not been as groundbreaking to the film industry as the media hype suggested.
It should be noted that the Wonder Woman sequel has already been given the renewable light.
The movie is likely to struck theatres in later 2019, with Jenkins reportedly in discussions to direct.
