Miranda Lambert washed up at the ACM Prizes on Weekend with two major honors — Feminine Vocalist of the entire year and Tune of the Year for her one “Tin Man.”
And what better way to enjoy success than to can get on a karaoke session with some friends? That’s precisely what Lambert chose to do, posting a video tutorial from backstage as she and several friends, especially the four members of Little Big Town, performed a group jam period of Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic.”
Lambert finished up making several major headlines throughout the nighttime. Her Music of the entire year award was the first trophy of the night to be given out, and fans observing at home loved how awkward it was for Lambert’s ex-husband Blake Shelton to be in leading row while she gained an honor for a music about their split.
Down the road she was spotted on camera supplying a side-eye glance to Shelton and his current girl Gwen Stefani as she contacted the stage. She then continued to perform her second tune of the night time, “Keeper of the Flame,” with a special guitar agreed upon by Country Music Hall of Famer Loretta Lynn.
The night signifies a huge gain for Lambert, who is just over weekly removed from apparently splitting from her partner Anderson East.
“They have put in a lot of time apart, but possibly could wrap up back mutually. The love remains,” a source advised Us Weekly again on April
While depressing, the split wasn’t a surprise for many followers as they’d notice her hint at romantic relationship troubles during a concert in Knoxville, Tennessee a month prior.
“I make it my quest every single time I step on the level that no matter what, no matter where I am, I want to cause you to feel all you may feel. I’d like one to feel sad, mad, happy and nostalgic and really pissed sometimes. That’s the best,” Lambert said while speaking to the crowd right before playing “Tin Man,” corresponding to Knox News. “And part of thoughts is also heartbreak regrettably, but fortunately for me, I can put it to use for my fine art or whatever. I like to write sad tunes. I love to listen to sad songs, therefore i want to sing y’all one.”
