Ajith’s Viswasam first look slipped early on Thursday night morning and Tweets has been in an overdrive since. There may be huge thrills among enthusiasts for Ajith’s upcoming film because this is the actor’s fourth cooperation with director Siva after Veeram, Vedalam and Vivegam. Their previous outing together did not receive a positive response from critics, and received a blended reaction from fans. The backdrop of each character also tells us that they inhabit very different spots. While one appears like a city slicker and poses with high rises jutting out behind him, the other Ajith is from a community and his backdrop is that of a ‘thiruvizha’ — a gathering that brings the folks of a village alongside one another. These differing backgrounds could also imply that Ajith’s origins are in a village, however the man steps to a city and makes his mark there. So far, the story of Viswasam has been kept underwraps.
Viswasam first look also unveiled that this Ajith starrer will be making its way to the monitors on Pongal 2019. Initially, the film was supposed to release for Diwali along with Vijay’s Sarkar and Suriya’s NGK, but the makers seem struggling to meet the deadline because of postponed shoots.
The film, which was expected to start out rolling in May, was delayed due to the 48-day long strike in the Tamil film industry. Nayanthara, who was supposed to join Viswasam initially, instead began working on her big budget Telugu film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, starring Chiranjeevi.
Viswasam is made by Sathya Jyothi motion pictures, who also bankrolled Ajith and director Siva’s past project, Vivegam. The music for this film has been made up by D Immam and from the looks than it, Ajith might be playing a role similar to the one in Veeram.
