Sonali Bendre has said in her latest post that she’s revealed her tumor medical diagnosis with 12-year-old kid Ranveer who has now become her ‘source of power and positivity’.
Sonali Bendre is preventing tumors, with her family located strong behind her, and a giggle on her behalf face. The acting professional, who revealed a few days ago that she has been identified as having ‘high quality’ cancers that has metastised, distributed a fresh post on Instagram where we can easily see her with son Ranveer and a shorter hairdo. Smiling into the camera, Sonali and her kid reveal the way the family has “started up sunlight” as of this hard time. Sonali has also written in the post that her 12-year-old kid has become her “source of strength”.
“As soon as he was created 12 years, 11 calendar months and 8 times in the past, my amazing @rockbehl got ownership of my heart and soul. From then on, his pleasure and well-being have been the centre of anything @goldiebehl and I ever before did. Therefore, when the Big C reared its unattractive mind, our biggest dilemma was what and how we were heading to tell him,” she says.
From the moment he was born 12 years, 11 months and 8 days ago, my amazing @rockbehl took ownership of my heart. From then on, his happiness and wellbeing have been the centre of anything @goldiebehl and I ever did. And so, when the Big C reared its ugly head, our biggest dilemma was what and how we were going to tell him. As much as we wanted to protect him, we knew it was important to tell him the full facts. We’ve always been open and honest with him and this time it wasn’t going to be different. He took the news so maturely… and instantly became a source of strength and positivity for me. In some situations now, he even reverses roles and takes on being the parent, reminding me of things I need to do! I believe that it’s imperative to keep kids involved in a situation like this. They are a lot more resilient than we give them credit for. It’s important to spend time with them and include them, rather than make them wait on the side-lines, not being told yet instinctively knowing everything. In our effort to protect them from the pain and realities of life, we might end up doing the opposite. I’m spending time with Ranveer right now, while he’s on summer vacation. His madness and shenanigans help me #SwitchOnTheSunshine. And today, we derive strength from each other #OneDayAtATime
Sonali says that rather than trying to protect Ranveer, she and partner Goldie Behl decided to be genuine with him. “Up to we wished to protect him, we recognized it was important to simply tell him the entire facts. We’ve always been open and genuine with him and this time it wasn’t heading to vary. He took the news headlines so maturely… and instantly became a source of durability and positivity for me personally. In a few situations now, he even reverses roles and assumes being the parent or guardian, reminding me of things I have to do!”
Sonali, who acquired earlier distributed a training video of lowering her hair short, is seen putting on her wild hair even shorter. She experienced cut her scalp perhaps in planning of chemotherapy. She brings in her post, “I think that it’s vital to keep kids involved in a situation such as this. They are much more resilient than we provide them with credit for. It is critical to spend time with them and include them, rather than make sure they are wait on the side-lines, not being advised yet instinctively knowing everything. Inside our effort to protect them from the pain and realities of life, we might conclude doing the opposite.”

In the words of my favourite author Isabel Allende, “We don't even know how strong we are until we are forced to bring that hidden strength forward. In times of tragedy, of war, of necessity, people do amazing things. The human capacity for survival and renewal is awesome.” The outpouring of love I’ve received in the last few days has been so overwhelming… and I’m especially grateful to those of you who shared stories of your experiences in dealing with cancer, whether it was your own or of loved ones. Your stories have given me an extra dosage of strength and courage, and more importantly, the knowledge that I’m not alone. Each day comes with its own challenges and victories and so for now, I’m taking this #OneDayAtATime. The only thing I’m trying to be consistent about is maintaining a positive outlook… literally #SwitchOnTheSunshine – it’s my way of dealing with this. Sharing my journey is also part of this process… I can only hope it reminds you that all is not lost and that someone, somewhere understands what you’re going through. 🤞🌞 Thank you @tomoarakawa for making this a chic transition from long to short!
In an preceding post, the acting professional had quoted creator Isabel Allende and said, “We don’t even understand how strong we are until our company is pressured to bring that hidden strength forwards. In times of tragedy, of battle, of necessity, people do amazing things. The individual capacity for success and renewal rocks !.”
Sonali got said that she actually is staying positive as she battles cancer. “Every day comes with its own obstacles and victories and so for the present time, I’m taking this #OneDayAtATime. The only thing I’m aiming to be steady about is retaining a positive view… practically #SwitchOnTheSunshine – it’s my way of interacting with this. Showing my journey is also part of this process… I could only trust it reminds you that all is not lost and this someone, somewhere is aware of what you’re going right through.”
A week before that, Sonali got unveiled that she acquired tumors and was in the US to undergo treatment. “Sometimes, when you least expect it, life throws you a curveball. I have recently been identified as having a high level cancer that has metastised, which we honestly didn’t see arriving. A niggling pain resulted in some tests, which resulted in this unexpected identification. My family and close friends have rallied around me, providing the best support system that anyone can require. I am very blessed and thankful for every of them… I’m taking this challenge head on, knowing I have the strength of my children and friends behind me,” she had written.
