After Aamir Khan failed to attend a meeting because of his unwell health, the Dangal star requested Shah Rukh Khan to grace the award distribution ceremony.

Bollywood professional Aamir Khan has dropped sufferer to swine flu. The professional and his wife, could not go to the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup 2017 prize circulation program at Balewadi on Sunday evening as they are afflicted with H1N1 disease.

“I am down with H1N1 so when it is contagious have decided to stay at home for weekly,” Aamir said and requested Shah Rukh Khan to attend the function in his place. The Satyamev Jayate Drinking water Cup 2017 program of Paani Foundation was organised in Pune on Sunday. Among those present for the program were Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and creator of Reliance Base, Nita Ambani among others.

“We are incredibly sad to see you,” Aamir said in a training video, “that after working so hard for yearly, when the time came for all of us to celebrate, this condition, which spreads quickly, has pressured us to stay at home for weekly.”
