Sept. 8 (UPI) — A new compilation album having the music lately performer Michael Jackson will debut Sept. 29.
The Scream collection will include such hits as “Thriller” and “Dirty Diana,” as well as “Blood on the Dance Floor X Dangerous,” a fresh mash-up of five tracks remixed by The White Panda, according to Billboard.
The job is the latest cooperation between Epic and Legacy, which are managed by Sony Music, and Jackson’s house. The companies will promote the album with festivities in Paris, London, Sydney, Berlin, Los Angeles and Tokyo in the fall.
Sony Music said in a press release that Scream’s trail list and release time frame were designed to coincide with Halloween.
“The choice of monitors for Scream displays The King of Pop’s devotion because of this time of the entire year and its styles of outfits and disguise, darkness and light, character transformations and wonder,” the company said, matching to CNN.
Jackson’s estate got teased the task with a 15-second video offering Halloween imagery Monday on Twitter. Scream will be available to stream and in Compact disk format Sept. 29, with a glow-in-the-dark vinyl fabric to be released Oct. 27.
