Denis Villeneuve (Sicario, Introduction, Cutting tool Runner 2049), David Mackenzie (Hell or High Water), and Yann Demange (’71) have been shortlisted to steer the 25th James Relationship movie. Who’s your go with?

Days after announcing that a new James Connection film will be released in November, 2019, three directors have been shortlisted to helm the film. Deadline studies that Denis Villeneuve, Yann Demange, and David Mackenzie are in the running.

French Canadian Denis Villeneuve happens to be in post creation on Knife Runner 2049, credited out in theatres in October. He was nominated for a Best Director Oscar for his 2016 science-fiction film, Entrance. He was, however, associated with a remake of Dune, which he was slated to escort next.

French filmmaker Yann Demange made a splash with his debut feature, 71, starring Jack O’Connell, for which he earned the British Independent Film Honor for Best Director. He’s also known for his work in Tv set, with shows like Deceased Place and Top Boy.

Scot David Mackenzie has made a job out of diverse films. He most recently directed Chris Pine and Ben Foster in neo-Western Hell or High Drinking water, which was nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. Like Demange, he also aimed O’Connell, this time around in prison movie, Starred Up.

While there has been no official phrase on Daniel Craig’s return, the brand new York Times confidently reported that he’d indeed be coming back for the fifth time as the iconic spy. Addititionally there is no mention of Christopher Nolan, who was simply previously from the project, and accepted to having got talks with the providers.
