Kareena Kapoor Khan and good friend Karan Johar will continue to work in Takht next.
Kareena Kapoor Khan is such a diva that she can escape with anything, even posing in a wardrobe. The actor, who has been in and out of Mumbai of late, was with her good friend Karan Johar at his home on Thursday and the latter has shared a rather candid shot of hers.
In it, the Veere Di Wedding superstar is constantly on the ‘wow’ us, even in her natural look. Dressed in a ganji and flat blue denims, her large ear canal loops and an infectious look stand out. Writing the picture as an Instagram tale, Karan composed: “When Bebo poses in my closet.”
Karan Johar shared this picture of Kareena Kapoor as his Instagram storyline late on Thursday.
Kareena was just lately in Dubai with her woman gang which included sister Karisma and buddy Amrita Arora. Kareena also attended a promotional event there. Most of them posed for the camera and searched rather stylish in them.
On the work entry, Kareena will soon get started work on her two forthcoming films–Karan’s directorial Takht and Akshay Kumar’s Good News, the latter being about a married couple hoping for a child. Takht is an ambitious new film, set in the Mughal period, and is reported to be based on lives of Aurangzeb and his siblings –Jahanara, Roshanara and Dara Shikoh.
Kareena’s last film, Veere Di Wedding, a tale of four metropolitan Indian women who are placed for a marriage and, in the process, deal with the own upheavals, continued to become hit. It debunked the misconception a male lead star is a good wager for a container office success.
Karan, meanwhile, is definitely in reports, even if he isn’t directing one. His latest creation Dhadak, which released Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter to the earth, went on to be a strike. His other high-profile productions are the Ranveer Singh, Rohit Shetty film, Simmba and Kalank, which will feature a number of big names from Bollywood including Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha amongst others.
