Professional Katrina Kaif feels it’s extremely important for individuals to enable women around them and says she now will try to positively support and encourage her contemporaries.

Katrina says lots of things start with mentality change and “we have to think everything we are doing for females around us”.

“Recently, I’ve are more alert to this, even subconsciously, do we really support our contemporaries- in whatever industry you’re in? I try to support women who are around me in so far as i can in my own work space. Sometimes a competitive way of thinking can in fact stop you from doing that,” Katrina told reporters here.

“Am I lifting up the ladies around me, am I doing what I can to support, encourage or to help them expand? Instead of just see what they can do for me personally, I really do whatever I could to encourage them to better in their profession.”
