This year’s GLAAD Marketing Awards will be showing a particular honor to Sean “Jay-Z” Carter for the LGBT message in the tune “Smile” from his 4:44 album, which focused on his mother’s have a problem with determining her sexuality.

The awards, which is held April 12 in LA and could 5 in NYC, will realize the HIPHOP mogul’s subject matter about Gloria Carter’s LGBT history with the pro-gay privileges organization’s Special Popularity for Tune and Music Video for Smile.

The honours nominations were announced this past week at the Sundance Film Event in Utah by actress Trace Lysette and acting professional Wilson Cruz.

Meanwhile, TV strikes “Will & Sophistication” and “This Is Us” and movies such as Laday Parrot, Call Me by Your Name, and real-life tennis drama Fight of the Sexes are among this year’s nominees.
