After disclosing lists of the highest paid guy and female celebrities on the planet, Forbes has released another list – that one features the 10 highest paid actors in Bollywood. While Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar made top 10 on the world’s highest-paid male celebrities’ list, not really a single Indian woman actor will make the cut.
However, the new list provides comprehensive look at the earning of Bollywood’s biggest superstars, the resources of their earnings and exactly how they could fare on next year’s list. The wages are saved from June 1, 2016 to June 1, 2017 and are based on data from Field Office India, Field Office Mojo, IMDB, press interviews and much more.
Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan, who had been named the very best earning Bollywood stars by Forbes journal.
1. Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh topped the list by raking in $38 million (Rs 243 crore) for starring in Raees and many brand endorsements. He stood at the eighth position in the worldwide list and got home more income than Ryan Gosling and Matt Damon.
2. Salman Khan
Salman Khan got home $37 million (Rs 236 crore) this past year even while his film Tubelight flopped at the package office. An enormous chunk of his revenue could be related to his role as a bunch for reality TV show Bigg Manager. He was on the 9th position on the worldwide list.
3. Akshay Kumar
2016 was a good time for Akshay once more as he needed home $35.5 million (Rs 224 crore). His films Jolly LLB, Housefull 3 and Rustom have added to the big haul. Akshay has received more than Make Ruffalo and Ryan Reynolds mixed. He was on the 10th position on the worldwide list.
4. Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan gave Bollywood its biggest reach ever but nonetheless could not defeat Shah Rukh, Salman or Akshay. He acquired $12.5 million (Rs 80 crore), a massive dip from Akshay’s $35 million.
5. Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik had taken home $11.5 million (Rs 73.6 crore) for Kaabil, Mohenjodaro and several brand endorsements. While Mohenjodaro was a big flop, Kaabil more than made up for it.
6. Deepika Padukone
Deepika made $11 million (Rs 70 crore) this past year after making her big Hollywood debut with xXx: Come back of Xander Cage and several brands endorsements. Her income make her the highest paid female acting professional in Bollywood but she’s still nowhere close to the highest paid female actor on the planet, Emma Natural stone, who earned $26 million. She also made only a third of highest paid Bollywood acting professional, Shah Rukh.
7. Ranveer Singh
While his film, Befikre, cannot work wonders at the pack office, Ranveer still made $10 million (Rs 64 crore). His brand associations with Durex, Chings and even more may be the reason.
8. Priyanka Chopra
Even with more Hollywood publicity than anybody upon this list, Priyanka could only control the seventh position. She attached with Ranveer for the spot with $10 million cash flow. This is attributed mainly to her role in ABC dilemma, Quantico, her Hollywood debut film Baywatch and several brand endorsements.
9. Amitabh Bachchan
Amitabh Bachchan received $9 million (Rs 57 crore) for his critically and commercially successful film Pink, and brand endorsements. He’s expected to surge higher on the list next 12 months with his go back to Kaun Banega Crorepati as a host.
10. Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir Kapoor is the previous entrance on the list with $8.5 (Rs 54 crore) earned this past year. His only release was Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
