Alia Bhatt is full of reward for Ranbir Kapoor in Sanju, says he’s outstanding in it

Alia Bhatt was reacting to questions on Sanju at the Navbharat Times Utsav 2018, when she talked about how she found Ranbir Kapoor ‘outstanding’ in it as the film itself was ‘fantastic, fantastic and spectacular’.

Professional Alia Bhatt, who’s busy shooting on her behalf forthcoming videos, has said that acting professional and her co-star Ranbir Kapoor is remarkable in actor Sanjay Dutt’s biopic titled Sanju.

Alia made the remarks while interacting with the marketing at the 68th anniversary special event of Navbharat Times Utsav 2018, on Fri here.

Alia and Ranbir are making headlines as the latest A-list Bollywood few after the second option recently admitted in a magazine interview that he was in romance with Alia.


Ranbir Kapoor’s performance has been the speaking point of Sanju, while Vicky Kaushal’s behaving too has been praise.
Regarding Sanju, Alia said: “I must say i liked it. It is a fantastic, fabulous and a superb film. I believe in my top 10 best film list, Sanju is high up there. Ranbir is fantastic in it. Vicky Kaushal and Paresh ji (Rawal) also performed a fantastic job. Everyone including Anushka (Sharma) and Sonam (Kapoor) have really good job. It’s a complete package.”

Praising Rajkumar Hirani’s route, Alia said: “I am really big admirer of Rajkumar Hirani so whenever his videos turn out, I cannot wait to see it and each and every time, he manages to hit out of the park. It really is one of the better films that people have right now before couple of years.”

Alia performed an undercover agent in her latest film Raazi which saw both critical and commercial success and then for that she received the best celebrity honor at the Navbharat Times Utsav.

“I am very thankful to Navbharat Times as they honoured me with the very best Actress prize for my performance in Raazi. In the beginning people thought that Raazi was somewhat dangerous and an off-beat film however when you obtain an award for such a film then it seems very nice because which means people have liked the film and it also gives courage with an actor to make such kind of daring choices.

“The kind of love and understanding the film has received, nothing at all beats that. Raazi was based on a true history so we were very emotional with the discharge of the film. Now it has been fully accepted and cherished, Personally i think very relieved.”

Giving update on her behalf shooting timetable, Alia said: “Right now, I am firing backwards and forwards for Kalank and Brahmastra.”

Alia will be next seen with Ranveer Singh in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Guy, followed by Abhishek Varman’s Kalank opposite Varun Dhawan and after that, Ayan Mukherji’s trilogy Brahmastra opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
