After auditioning more than 2,000 celebrities and stars, Disney has named a fresh Princess Jasmine…

In early stages today at the D23 Expo, the house of Mouse exposed the actress who’ll play the princess who fell in love with the pauper in Man Ritchie’s live-action reboot of Aladdin and her name is Naomi Scott.

While most might not exactly know her name, you may know her as the Green Ranger from the new Capacity Rangers movie, which appeared earlier this season.

It’s going to be a whole new world for the relatively unfamiliar soon-to-be movie star, and we’ve 5 things you merely gotta find out about the 24-year-old who’s going to take a powerful carpet drive of an eternity…
